No, not with the parts themselves, because obviously they have a time limit. But do you REALLY need to crank it out an submit it within just a few hours? Why don't you compile it, and test for bugs and everything before submitting? Looking in the thread, there was apparently a lot of things wrong with the menu and such.

I don't see why you can't take your time with setting it up correctly. Just because the parts have a time limit, it doesn't mean compiling it should, also.

On to the collab:

It was semi-good. You've completely milked the idea, and it's just getting worse. Stop while you're ahead. If you must, stop it at 10, or something. The only good parts were the Dad 'N Me ones (yeah yeah, you made them).

I'm expecting something better for the next one.

"Not a Masterpiece"

First of all, never call your own animation a masterpiece. It makes you seem very pretentious and full of yourself. I mean, when I read that, I was already thinking, "Oh god, another animator who thinks he's the best thing around." You might just want to edit out that line from your author comments.

Now to get to the actual flash. After reading the author comments I was expecting a masterpiece, but what I found was another intense graphics, rotoscoped, plotless animation. If you really believe that a masterpiece animation consists of traced animation, and no story whatsoever, then you're wrong.

This indeed is not a masterpiece, and will never be worthy of that name. Sure, you had great effects, great sounds, and what would SEEM to be realistic animation, but is actually rotoscoped crap which any animator can do. But where is the true animation? Where are the wonderfully composited backgrounds combined with characters? All I saw in this was, "DARK BACKGROUND AND DARK CHARACTER EQUALS A GOOD COMPOSITION." That's usually never this case, and definitely was not the case this time.

What I'm trying to get at, is that in no way does this animation deserve this score. I've seen plenty of flashes exactly like this, with the same amount of quality that have much lower scores, and this should be placed in that exact same area. Next time you try to create a masterpiece, please animate the characters without having to trace anything, and PLEASE have more of a plot than this, PLEASE.

I'm looking forward to your future animations.
